NORTHIRON Church has developed a phased plan to re-open in person services! On location services have been re-opened at our Ishpeming and L’Anse Campuses ONLY. See below for a message from our leadership. Check back for updates on this developing situation.

“With the anticipation that the Governor will begin to lift restrictions with a phased approach to re-entry on May the 28th, I’d like to share a few thoughts with you.

The leadership of NORTHIRON Church has been working on a plan for re-launching. It is our heart and our desire to provide both ministry and safety for your family. We are excited for re-launch and will keep you updated on how that will look as we receive further information in the weeks ahead.

Whatever guidelines are set forth, we will be prepared to meet them. We are ready to do whatever is necessary to ensure that the Gospel is preached, and people can gather in the local church to worship safely and responsibly.

Something to keep in mind is that this re-entry will happen phase by phase. This means as restrictions are lifted, each person is free to choose what is best for them without casting judgement on another for their decision. One thing that COVID-19 has taught us all is that everybody is entitled to their own perspectives and opinions, and that will vary from person to person. One of the greatest ways we can shine as the Church in a polarized culture is to love one another (John 13:35), not respond in outrage when someone holds a differing view (Galatians 5:15, 22-23), and to demonstrate the humility (Philippians 2:3) and honor of Jesus Christ for each other. That makes far more difference in our world than opinions do.

For those who are ready to physically gather when the time comes, we will be ready for you. For those who are not comfortable doing so, you will have the option to continue gathering with us online.

We will begin to open up our Branches small groups, which gather throughout the week, during the week of May 17th. We will still offer the option of meeting via Zoom for some of our groups. We want to encourage you all to invite family and friends into your home to watch our online service on the 24th of May, if you choose. In anticipation of the opening of our state by our State Governor on May the 28th, we are preparing to hold two morning services on May 31st at 10:00am, and at 11:15am, at our Ishpeming campus. We will not provide childcare for these services, but your children are welcome to sit with you in our main service.

Please understand, if you feel uncomfortable at any of our gatherings, you can still watch and be a part of our online Zoom meetings, and our online services from the safety of your home.

Until we as a church have further information and are prepared to put forth our guidelines for us to meet together once again, please continue to watch our Facebook page or

We are so excited to SEE you!”
